Design & Food Technician

Based at the Beauchamp College, part of the Lionheart Academies Trust

We are seeking to appoint a Design & Food Technician to provide technical and administrative support to the academic staff and students within Art and Design department across the age and ability range in our Outstanding College (14-19).

This is a 37 hour per week, 39 weeks per year position. Maths and English GCSE and experience of working in a food handling environment are essential requirements. Formal qualifications in a Food or Art & Design based subject at level 3 or above would be an advantage.

Catering Assistant

Casual contract to start in August 2017.
Based at The Cedars Academy in Birstall, part of the Lionheart Academies Trust
12.5 hours per week (39 weeks per year)
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 12.00 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. (during term time).
Grade 2 pay point 3 (currently £7.78 per hour)
Reference: CACA1

The post holder is required to assist the Catering Manager in offering and promoting the provision of an effective, efficient and healthy food service for the academy and its users. The role will include working in the kitchens and servicing food to the users.

This post is designated as a regulated activity and requires enhanced criminal records check for a regulated activity (including a barred list check).

Learning Support Assistant

CATERING ASSISTANT VACANCY

Grade 2.3 (£5,184 actual salary)

Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week (11 a.m.-2 p.m.), 39 weeks per Year

Catering Assistant, based at Beauchamp College, must have Level 2 Food Safety. The ability to work as part of a team and be able to relate positively to young people is essential.

Working within the catering team. To assist with all functions as required by the catering manager to ensure the smooth running of the department.

ESSENTIAL:

  • Food Safety Level 2 (up to date)
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative

Premises Officer

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Premises Officer who will contribute to the provision of high quality maintenance, security and cleanliness of the academy’s buildings and grounds, so that all pupils, staff and users have a comfortable, clean, safe and well maintained environment to work in and to use the academy’s facilities. We would ideally like to recruit an individual that already possesses a trade in such areas as plumbing, electrics and carpentry.
