Dodge, Duck, Dive! Lionheart Students Bring the Energy to Schoolwide Dodgeball Tournament
350 students from Lionheart’s secondary schools enjoyed an afternoon full of fast reactions, teamwork and plenty of friendly rivalry, as they took part in The Lionheart Dodgeball Competition at Knighton Tennis Centre.
Now an annual event due to its popularity and success, year group teams competed in a round robin tournament, taking on rival teams from each school.
The standard of play was extremely high, and it was clear that squads had been working hard back at their respective schools to improve their throwing and catching skills, as well as their footwork and agility.
Many matches were close and a few came down to the final moments to take the win. Squads worked well as a team to rotate players between games to help keep energy levels up and ensure every student had time on court.

The matches were played in good spirits and the level of effort from all teams and the coaches was clear throughout the afternoon. Which schools will be victorious next year?
