Teacher of Science – Biology and Chemistry

The Beauchamp College Science Faculty comprises 23 teachers, 3 technicians a mentor and an administrator. We have a staffroom and a recently refurbished, well-equipped suite of 18 rooms. These include both wet and dry labs, classrooms and computing rooms.

To join our team in September 2017 we are seeking an outstanding teacher, who can deliver consistent high quality lessons for our students in both GCSE and A-level Biology and Chemistry.  All staff teach across the whole age-range and all attainment levels.

Science is very popular at Beauchamp College with over 1100 students at GCSE and over 450 students taking Level 3 courses. We are proud of our track record and this year’s students achieved another set of outstanding results. The most recent validated RAISE report put our progress at GCSE Science in the top 2 percent of schools nationally. This is accomplished through a collegiate approach, a desire for self-improvement, enthusiasm and an attitude that is unafraid of change.

Assistant Head of School – Inclusion

Salary: Leadership Pay Range 3 – 6 (£40,958 to £44,102 per annum dependent upon experience)

We are seeking to appoint a creative individual, with an outstanding teaching history to lead on Inclusion. This could be an excellent next step in the career ladder for a member of Senior Leadership, looking for an exciting new challenge.

The successful candidate will lead on Inclusion which includes: Behaviour, Pupil Premium, Attendance and Safeguarding

The role will be 40% classroom based with shared class responsibility and 60% Management release. The role is fixed term until 31 August 2018 with the view to being extended.

KS1 Class Teacher Vacancy

Riverside Primary School is seeking to appoint a KS1 Class Teacher. The successful candidate will be dedicated, enthusiastic, hard-working and a conscientious individual who has a passion for developing pupils’ learning in the classroom, helping them to exceed. The post is Permanent to start September 2017

Riverside is a large primary school with two classes in each year group and approximately 450 children currently on roll. The school serves a mixed catchment area which covers the area to the south of the A6 which cuts through the centre of Birstall. The area stretches from the Leicester City boundary up to, and including, the village of Wanlip.
